Introduction
- Semi-Automatic Microtome is the instrument of choice for clinical histology and histopathology applications. This is used to produce thin section of specimen of different hardness in both routine and research applications in biology and industry.

Standard Block Holder
- Holds the paraffin block in place, typically, the block moves up and down with each revolution while the blade is stationary. Block holder allow the users to manipulate the block face in various direction to bring the issue in alignment with the blade.
Quick Release Specimen Clamp
- The clamp has several fingers protruding from the face of the clamp assembly to grip an object. A pivotally mounted control arm first moves the protruding fingers away from the face of the assembly and then moves them away from the center axis of the assembly to provide clearance for removal of the object.
Blade Holder
- Blade holder slides sideways in both directions allowing the use of the entire cutting edge. It accepts either low or high-profile blades. Guard is provided for the user protection. Stage is coated for easy flow of section.
Spacious Waste Tray
- Special antistatic coating prevents paraffin adhesion and minimizes the cleaning time.
Smooth and Ergonomic Handwheel
- The hand wheel is perfectly balanced and the reason behind it is the counter weight system and can be locked in any angular position. Cutting can be done by turning the hand wheel clockwise.
ARM Rest
- Ergonomic design with surface for arm rest.
