Inspissator (MSW-278)

APPLICATIONS
- Convenient and effective system designed to produce large batches of uniform tuberculosis culture medium four to six times per day. Vessels containing culture medium are incubated on a shallow tray which is in contact with water held at a constant temperature of 85°C within a tank, so ensuring that the temperature of the vessels is constant. Inspissation takes 50 minutes at 85°C.
APPLICATIONS and CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES
- Vessels containing culture medium are placed in a shallow tray which itself rests inside a tank containing water.
- The whole undersurface of the tray is in contact with water at a constant temperature, fitted with a circulation pump, ensuring the Temperature of the vessels is also constant.
- The Surface of the tray is a series of sloping steps, and will hold tubes as per capacity ordered.
- Inspissations take 50 minutes at 85 C.
- The temperature of the water under the tray is controlled by a Microprocessor Based Digital Temperature Indicator cum Controller with LED display for Set Value (SV) & Process Value (PV). Accuracy and reproducibility of set temperature are ensured with the digital display of actual and, set temperature at the touch of a button.
- The tray and tank are made of polished stainless steel (SS-304 grade) and outer wall CRC Sheet duly powder coated.
- A constant level device is fitted to maintain the water level despite evaporation losses.
