APPLICATIONS

The need to protect personel, product and the environment from exposure to biohazards and cross contamination during routine procedures has never been more acute. “MAC” has developed biological safety cabinets designed to meet diverse applications in the life science, clinical, pharmaceutical and industrial laboratory. In varying degrees, a biological safety cabinet is designed to provide three basic types of protection.

FEATURES

It is used for various works that require maintenance of the cleanliness and purity like plant tissue culture, examination and experimentation of precision electronic parts, medical science, pharmacy, agriculture sector and the like.
The highly efficient HEPA filter maintains the optimum cleanliness and purity. Being equipped with the prefilter, it can extend the life of HEPA filter.
Microprocessor Based Filter replacement Warning Alarm (option).
The contaminated air is drawn by the blower through the plenum of the cabinet , where approximately 70% of the air is recirculated through the HEPA filter back to the work area 30% of the air is exhausted from a common plenum at top through a HEPA FILTER .
HEPA filtered exhaust air exhausted through the top plenum is recirculated into the room or can be exhausted to the outdoors through a special canopy exhaust system (option) through the exhaust duct (OPTION-available pre running feet) FOR PRODUCT AND PERSONNEL PROTECTION.
A Virus burn-out unit (OPTION) to be ordered essentially with special canopy exhaust system accounts for ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION.
Silent Vibration-Free Blower ensure noiseless operation and anti-vibration construction provides efficient working environment.
Air is drawn through Pre-Filter and is made to pass through highly effective HEPA (High Efficiency Particular Air) filters having efficiency retaining all air-borne particles of size 0.3 micron and larger.
